While there's considerable research on the effectiveness of LED's, the Dinshah Health Society recommends using incandescent or halogen incandescent bulbs. These bulbs provide a continuous spectrum of light that closely resembles natural sunlight--something most LED's, flourescents, and so-called "full-spectrum" bulbs lack. Further, the precision of the light is dependent on the quality of the light rather than the quantity, so any 25w, 40w, 60w incandescent or halogen-incandescent bulb will work great.
Tip: I purchased a par-38 lighting fixture with filter frame (optional barn doors) and a light stand for under $60usd. Q: How often can I apply Spectro-Chrome colors on my body?
A: For most situations, Spectro-Chrome tonations are best applied once during the day and once in the afternoon or evening in accordance with the Forecast times based on your latitude and longitude.
